Swim Lessons

This was the first year that I put Emily in swim lessons and she got her head wet. Grace was a little fish from the beginning, but Emily was willing to try anything. They both passed level 1 with no problem. Here they are with their instructor.

Here they are with their Level 2 instructors. They both passed this level with flying colors also.

Emily is still a little afraid of the diving board and the "deep end" so she had help off the board, but I am soooooo proud of her that she tried.

Gracie on the other hand... she would hardly wait for the lifeguard to finish with one child before she would run and jump off. She kept asking if she could flip off, but I told her she was not quite ready for that yet. LOL.

She would get mad if the lifeguards would try to give her a helping shove to the edge. "Don't push me please" was a common phrase she used. She wanted to do it all herself.

There was always a party after the final lesson was over. How fun. But mom and Kevyn cooked watching the girls swim.
