At first I was afraid at how Kevyn would react during the flight. But she LOVED it. There is a part at the beginning of all Disney movies now where they have mixed all the movies together and Peter Pan says "Here We Goooooooo...." So when the plane was accelerating down the runway in Las Vegas I said, "Here we go, we get to fly like Tinker Bell..." Kevyn started to do her excited shake and her happy giggle and squeal, "I'm flying!" She would get mad at the pilot if he turned away from what she was looking at and say thank you when he would turn back towards it. She started several movies: Enchanted, Sleeping Beauty,Chipmunks Valentine (she fell asleep during this one, for the duration of the flight). She did not wake up until the plane was at a stand still at the terminal gate. When the plane touched down, she was strapped into her carseat and her head came forward from the force, I had to physically hold it back against her seat until the pilot eased up on the brakes. The gentleman next to me just laughed. I am glad that she was asleep for the last part of the flight, the landing was pretty bumpy!@@!!!!

Just outside of Las Vegas, still on our ascent.

Movie Time! The clouds looked like snow, it was beautiful. The pictures just don't do it justice.

Kevyn got to have her picture with the captain. But the flight attendant wasn't the nicest person. She was a little scary!
For $3.00 they give you this little certificate about your first flight. It has the name of the WHOLE flight crew: from pilots to flight attendants! (I was in the bathroom, when I came back they gave it to me. I was very grateful thinking it was just something sweet they did for first-time flyers! I found out about two hours ago that Gma & pa paid for Kevyn to have one. Thanks guys. :D)
So here I am at Grandma Reynolds' computer in Fort Smith, Arkansas trying to keep my family in Logandale updated as to what we are up to. Grandma's surgery went REALLY well. She is resting, as much as we can get her to! As anyone who knows me, she is like me and it is hard to "force" her to do anything. So we "lovingly" suggest. She seems to be feeling really good and now that she is feeling better, we can get grandpa to rest a little more and relax, we can get them both rested and feeling good. I will try my darndest to keep "ya'll" updated about our time in the good old South. Keep a checkin'.
A special shout out to:
My loving Husband and little girls in Logandale, for braving life without mommy.
& Toni for EVERYTHING (sorry about the house. I know you couldn't leave it alone, but I really would have gotten to it when I got back. :D. LOL!)
